Straight Line Heating and Cooling was founded in 1988 in Los Angeles California. Sydney Goldis, owner of Straight Line, had just finished his 4 year apprenticeship in the sheet metal industry and showed a unique deftness for creating unique structures as well as an above average aptitude for the engineering side of the sheet metal business.

In 1995, Straight Line Sheet Metal became Straight Line Heating and Cooling along with certified technicians. It was a natural progression from custom sheet metal to heating and air conditioning. Custom sheet metal is used in the installation of ducting work in both commercial and residential construction. The only thing Straight Line added was the appliances.
